Help Tamil Nadu (INDIA) Flood Victims


Muthamizh Sangam of Central Florida (MSCF) requests contributions that will be managed by the Executive Committee team in co-ordination with trusted volunteers on the ground in the affected areas. We are taking utmost care to make sure 100% of the funds collected are used to procure relief items and ship to verified volunteers on ground.


Thank you for your Donations. Together we will help our people resurrect stronger and mightier than ever!! We are no longer accepting donations but working hard to help the needy get back on their feet.


Relief Distribution Plan


MSCF members are directly working with relatives and friends back home to purchase and send following relief items to areas affected by floods.

  1. Shipment 1 to Chennai on 04-Dec-2015
    1. 10,000 litres of water, 150 blankets
    2. Planned and shipped in less than 10 hrs
  2. Shipment 2 to Cuddalore on 06-Dec-2015
    1. 5,000 litres of water, 1000 blankets, Sanitary Napkins, Mosquito Coils, Bath and Detergent Soaps
    2. 1500 kgs rice, 150 kgs dal
  3. Shipment 3 to Chennai on 07-Dec-2015
    1. 5,000 litres of water, 500 blankets, 600 each T-shirts, lungies and nighties, Sanitary Napkins
    2. 1500 kgs of rice, 150 kgs dal
  4. Shipment 4 to Cuddalore on 08-Dec-2015
    1. 300 rehabilitation kit that includes, rice, dal, oil, saree, towel, dettol, bath soap, detergent soap
  5. Contribution to local charity to help people in Ayappakkam village near Chennai
  6. We have a small balance left that we are planning to use to provide education assistance to students from families affected by the Tamil Nadu Floods in Chennai and Cuddalore.

Above relief items will be shipped directly by relatives and friends of MSCF members from unaffected areas to relatives and friends of MSCF in affected areas who are managing the rescue and relief efforts.
